Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or accessing Orbit Academic ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

2. User Roles & Permission Hierarchy

Orbit Academic strictly enforces role-based authority across the application ecosystem:

• ✓ Students: Access personal agendas, mark items complete for review, view grades and teacher notes. Students do not possess task deletion privileges.
• ✓ Parents: Access read-only child oversight dashboards using valid Family Linking Codes.
• ✓ Teachers & Admins: Possess full authority to push assignments to class rosters, review student submissions, post grades, schedule release times, and delete tasks.

3. Subscriptions & Licensing

Subscriptions are billed via Lemon Squeezy on a monthly or annual basis ($2/mo for Student, $4/mo for Parent, $6/mo for Admin).

4. Multi-Tenant School Compliance

Users agree not to attempt cross-tenant security circumvention or data access across unauthorized school organization IDs. Any attempt to bypass Firestore organization rules will result in immediate account termination.

5. Limitation of Liability

Orbit Academic is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we maintain a 99.9% cloud sync uptime SLA, Orbit Academic is not liable for missed academic deadlines, grade miscomputations resulting from user input, or local device storage corruption.

6. Modifications & Inquiries
